Mesa, AZ – February 9, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — RE/MAX Diamond Owners Joe & Nick Martin, along with a number of their agents, have teamed up with “Room for Joy” to sponsor a dream room. “Room for Joy” is a local organization dedicated to enhancing the healing process of chronically ill children by providing them with positive, imaginative bedroom environments.
RE/MAX Diamond will not only be sponsoring the dream room, but they will also be volunteering their time to take place in the transformation, which is set to be revealed on February 26th, 2012. Those contributing to the cause are RE/MAX Diamond affiliates Sarah Reiter, Kay Wood, Joe Martin, Nick Martin, Christy Crouse and Patty Peck.
“We’re determined to make a difference in the life of a child who is going through medical treatments and the healing process,” said Joe Martin. “We hope our contribution will help one of these children forget, if only for a moment, the pain and suffering they’re enduring, and simply just enjoy being a child.”
Room for Joy is dedicated to creating bedrooms designed around everything children love and dream about, so that after returning home from a painful chemotherapy session or hospitalization from another surgery, they can open the door to their very own Yankee Stadium or perhaps a fairytale room filled with castles and princesses.
In the past, RE/MAX Diamond has also sponsored Children’s Miracle Network, Boys & Girls Club of America and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
