WASHINGTON, D.C. – March 27, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — TRI-Com of Tempe, Arizona, was recently awarded a nearly $15 million contract to the Tempe-based TRI-Com Corp. to build the 4,500-square-foot splash pad at Heritage River Park, which is near the Gladden Farms neighborhood. The contract is one of the largest for the town of Marana in the 2015 1Q. The project in Marana, when it opens, will be one of the largest splash pads in the state.

Town Manager Gilbert Davidson says the project should begin by mid-Spring and is expected to be completed by end July.

The town received three eligible bids for the contract.

Conceptual renderings suggest the water park will have a farming theme, with a tractor, a windmill and crops that spray water. In addition to building the farm-themed splash pad, the contract calls for construction of restrooms, a parking lot, water and sewer improvements and drainage adjacent to the Gladden Farms Community Park.
