Westwood Financial Copr. Negotiates 10-Year Lease in Camelback Village
PHOENIX - April 11, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Westwood Financial Corp., one of the largest owner-operators of shopping centers in the U.S., has negotiated the lease of the former Cork ‘N Cleaver Restaurant at Camelback Village at 44th Street and Camelback in Phoenix to Steak 44, which plans to open an upscale fine dining steakhouse by Fall 2013. Steak 44 is an entity operated by the Mastro family that originated the Mastro’s and Ocean Club restaurant chains, and currently operates Michael Dominick’s Steakhouse at Scottsdale Quarter.
Westwood Financial Corp. Makes Another Value-Add Retail Purchase
Torrance, CA - October 25, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Westwood Financial Corp., one of the largest owner-operators of shopping centers in the U.S., has purchased the 24,452-square-foot Crossroads of Tempe retail center in the Arizona town. It is the company’s latest transaction toward the company’s value-add program, to which it has earmarked $100 million in purchases.
Westwood Financial Corp. Sells Scottsdale Retail Center for $16M
Scottsdale, AZ - August 10, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Westwood Financial Corp., one of the largest owner-operators of shopping centers in the U.S., announces the $16.1 million sale of the Terravita Marketplace, a 102,733-square-foot retail center in Scottsdale, Ariz. Lee & Associates’ Phoenix office represented Westwood in the sale of the property, located at 34402-34502 North Scottsdale Road. It was purchased by Whitestone REIT.
