Grijalva Congratulates Chicanos Por La Causa on Federal Awards for Home Construction and Head...
Washington, DC - August 20, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva today congratulated Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC), a community development non-profit corporation with offices throughout the state, on its new $400,919 grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program to provide technical assistance in the construction of 30 homes in Santa Cruz County. Rural Development also awarded CPLC a $17,500 grant to supply much-needed kitchen and playground equipment for a Head Start program in Somerton.
