The average total of impact fees and surcharges for a 2,100 square foot home was $27,587 last year. As of February, the median price for a new home was $214,364, according to John Strobeck, of Bright Future Business Consultants.

August Fire Burning in Prescott National Forest
As containment progresses on the August Fire continued through the day, some of the assigned resources were detailed to assist with initial attack on a new start, the November Fire. Two air tankers and 2 helicopters were able to get a wet line around the perimeter of the November Fire and stop the spread as a fire crew and 2 engines were diverted to begin the suppression efforts.
