Two Coldwell Banker Agents Voted “Best of the Valley”

Phoenix, AZ – April 6, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage REALTORS® Wendy Walker and Virginia Gee were each named Best of the Valley-2011 in this month’s Arizona Foothills Magazine for their dedication to Arizona’s real estate work — Walker in Phoenix and Gee in Scottsdale. Sponsored by the magazine, more than one million people participated in this year’s annual ranking of their favorite services and products in the Valley of the Sun.

Walker and Gee combine for nearly four decades of service to the Arizona real estate community. In addition to the backing of their respective clients, Walker and Gee, who are both in the top 4 percent of REALTORS® nationwide, share the support of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage family.

“This company has an incredible support system for their agents,” said Gee who has logged two-plus decades in the real estate business with Coldwell Banker. “We have access to legal knowledge, cutting edge technical tools and industry research that is unsurpassed – all of which allows me to provide good information to my clients and affords me more quality time with my clients.”

In fact, Coldwell Banker continues to provide cutting edge tools for its REALTORS® and is currently pushing “the future of real estate” with its iPad app that immediately locates nearby open houses, provides a wealth of specific property information from tax records to interior photos, and offers the ability to give home video tours on its full-size display.

Constantly educating themselves, educating their clients, and simply outworking the competition have been driving factors for Walker and Gee’s sustained success that has endured through the worst economic downturn since the 1930s.

“I am always searching for information to share with my clients that is valuable in a market that is changing daily,” said Walker, who specializes in luxury real estate and is a certified Previews Property Specialist. “I feel a huge obligation to my clients to continue to educate myself, stay on the pulse of the market, and remain a step ahead in this ever-evolving business.”

Walker works hand-in-hand with her partner and mentor, 37-year veteran REALTOR® Sharon Dupont, while Gee leans on her closing agent, April Noble, and her assistant, Denise Von Derlinn.

Gee was born and raised in Arizona and attended Arizona State University before cutting her teeth selling luxury homes in Santa Monica and Brentwood, Calif. She moved back to Arizona and joined Coldwell Banker in 1993. Walker, a self-proclaimed small-town girl from Stow, Ohio, attended Kent State University before moving to Arizona over 10 years ago to work with and learn from Dupont.
