Phoenix, AZ – November 30, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Lee & Associates Arizona Principals Mike McQuaid and Mike Garlick, in collaboration with Dibble Engineering, are pleased to announce the charitable donation of $3,500 to Sunshine Acres Children’s Home. Earlier this year, Mike McQuaid and Mike Garlick represented Dibble Engineering during their lease renewal at the Plaza at Squaw Peak. As part of their business plans and charitable efforts, Mike and Mike donate a portion of their brokerage fees to a non-profit of their client’s choosing. Dibble Engineering selected Sunshine Acres Children’s Home as the recipient.
Sunshine Acres, located in east Mesa, was founded in 1954 by Reverend Jim and Vera Dingman. The children’s home operates under two principles. First, no child will ever be turned away due to financial reasons. Second, Sunshine Acres will never solicit donations – monetary, material or otherwise. Sunshine Acres relies on the charity of others finding them, as their mission is to support and care for children rather than fundraising. The charity’s dedication to helping children has caught the attention of numerous national and local celebrities and private citizens, who have graciously assisted with time, materials and money.
Sunshine Acres operates many homes on-site, where a surrogate couple are parents to several children. In addition to providing steady and caring parents and households, Sunshine Acres sees to the educational and physical needs of the children, as well as offers Christian-based spiritual guidance, though their chapel is open to all religions.
