TUCSON – (RealEstateRama) — Congressman Raúl M. Grijalva (D-AZ) today congratulated Housing America Corporation (HAC) on receiving a nearly $1.5 million grant award from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the Mutual Self Help Housing Program in Yuma County. Grijalva, who wrote a letter of support for HAC’s grant application, released the following statement:

“I’m thrilled to see Housing America Corporation selected to receive this tremendous award,” Rep. Grijalva said. “HAC’s efforts continue to improve the quality of life in our region by providing affordable and accessible housing, and these funds will allow them to take their tremendous work even further. The safe, sanitary and affordable housing they will create are more than simply places for people to live – they are homes for people who otherwise would not have them.”
